Having trouble with your device not turning on or staying on? Having trouble getting your device connected? Not to worry! We have included steps below on how you can reset your Hatch device.
Rest
- Turn off Bluetooth on your phone
- While standing near Rest, turn your Bluetooth back on
- Unplug Rest for 20 seconds
- Plug Rest back in and make sure the power cord is firmly in place
- Hold the power button in (center button in the middle of the base)
- While holding the power button, insert/release a paperclip into the small reset hole in the base (near "contains FCC ID")
- After 5 seconds, release the power button
- Open your app and connect to Rest right away (within 20 seconds)
Rest+
- Make sure your Rest+ is plugged in
- Insert a paperclip or pin into the hole marked "R" to the left of the power cord (the clock will turn off briefly)
- Unplug your Rest+
- Press the two outermost buttons on the base of your Rest+ for 10 seconds to power your lamp completely OFF
- Securely plug your Rest+ back in
- Wait one minute - in order for the reset to complete
- Open your app and connect your Rest+
- If you see a firmware update notification when attempting your next connection via the app, please accept the update and let it install to ensure your device is on the latest firmware. Being on the newest firmware ensures your device has the latest bug fixes and sometimes might resolve issues that you're experiencing.
Rest 2nd Gen
- Hold your palm down on the Rest 2nd Gen for 3 seconds until it turns off
- Unplug your Rest 2nd Gen for at least 5 minutes
- Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone
- Turn Bluetooth back on your phone and ensure you are standing near the Rest 2nd Gen
- Press the button with the two arrows (the Bluetooth connection button) on the bottom of your Rest 2nd Gen for two seconds.
- Securely plug the Rest 2nd Gen back into a different outlet
- Open your app and connect to your Rest 2nd Gen right away
Rest+ 2nd Gen
- Ensure Rest+ 2nd Gen is plugged in directly to the socket on the lamp, or has been charged for at least 5h. Do not use the charging base as part of the Recovery Mode process.
- Press and hold *BOTH* the power and connect buttons for 10s
- Release the power button but keep pressing the connect button for a further 10s
- Release the connect button.
Rest Mini
- Unplug your Rest Mini
- Wait 1 minute before plugging back in
- Securely plug your Rest Mini back into a working outlet and then open your Hatch Sleep app
- You might have to reconnect your Rest Mini to your wireless network after this step
Restore
- Unplug your Restore
- Press the button with the two arrows (the Bluetooth connection button) on the bottom of your Restore for two seconds.
- Plug your Restore in again
- Go back into the app and try to register or update your Wi-Fi again.
Grow
- Replace the batteries on your Grow with brand new ones
- Before inserting the last battery hold down the button on the bottom of your Grow
- While continuing to hold down the button insert the last battery
- Carefully turn your Grow back over and try connecting again
