Location Services on Android 5.0+
Android users on 5.0+ must have location services enabled in order to connect to Hatch Rest+ 2nd Gen. This is a requirement from Google for any app connecting to a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device. Please be assured that our app does not collect or use your location at all. We recommend setting your permission level to “Allow only while using this app.”

To enable location services, go to Settings >> Apps >> Hatch Sleep and enable location.
Location Services on Android 10+
Due to privacy changes on Android 10, we need to ask users to re-enable location permissions for Rest+ 2nd Gen after upgrading to Android 10. This will allow the app to connect over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) when needed and support new Android 10 features and behavior changes. Please be assured that our app does not collect or use your location information.
