This is a very common question and the answer is yes! Restore is intended to be used with the Hatch Sleep app, which helps you control and customize your Restore. From within the app, you are able to craft a personalized sleep routine completely tailored to your wants and needs! For this reason, it does require a Wi-Fi connection on both sides.
That being said, your Bedtime routine and alarms, as they were originally saved in the app, will continue to run on your Restore without a network connection. This is to make sure you can count on your Restore regardless of any connectivity issues life throws your way!
What if I don't have WiFi?
If you are going to be traveling somewhere without WiFi, or don't have a reliable internet connection at home, not to worry! We have a workaround below that may help:
Anytime you need to connect to your device or change something in your routine you can set up a wireless hotspot using your smartphone or tablet. You can use the hotspot to connect to your device and make any needed changes, then once you're done you can turn the hotspot off!
